Every year, a team of U.S. doctors travel to Jalapa, Guatemala with Latin American Medical Providers (LAMP) where they treat some of poorest people in the region. In just under one week, the team sees over 1,000 patients and completes up to 80 surgeries for people who couldn't normally afford treatment.
